A solid foundation produced "Great" Accomplishments. However, our once solid foundation, built by our forefathers, is now cracking. We must begin to work together to close this crack. The Lord Helps Those Who Help Themselves.

The intent of this book is to say to Black America “ Wake Up”, “Wake Up”. African Americans interviewed state that today in the United States we have two battles to fight and we continue to only look at one. We must continue to fight discrimination. However, those interviewed, stated that we are failing miserably to look at the serious problems where we, African Americans, are the most probable cause and as a result have not begun this fight. Data reviewed revealed that this situation has many in our communities becoming totally dependent again and they are “Sleepwalking Back To Slavery”. This book explores twelve key areas of African American life that many say have become serious problems that we are not recognizing. It also reveals that we have made tremendous accomplishments in this country, to date, overcoming obstacle after obstacle to make it happen. However, the book also reveals that the once solid foundation that supported this growth, and was built by our forefathers, is cracking. We have outlined some of these problems, probable causes, most probable causes and strategies for recovery for our readers.
