Karega Kofi Moyo, the "original Real Man," is a photojournalist, gemologist, community activist, and the father of nine children. He cofounded the Real Men Cook for Charity event with Yvette Moyo in 1989. Kofi speaks regularly on a variety of topics, from prostate cancer to fatherhood. His awards include the Community Mental Health Council's Leadership Award and the Chicago Tribune's Good Eating Award. He lives in Chicago.
